The Settlement Scheme has now been tested and is fully open for application. Over 600,000 people have already applied under the Scheme to secure their rights and status in the UK.
The Settlement Scheme was designed to be as simple and easy as possible for EU, EEA, and Swiss Citizens, as well as their family members, to apply. Applicants must prove their identity, demonstrate their UK residence, and declare any criminal convictions. To prove your identity, you must either use the app or visit an identity scanner location.
