Pál Belényesi

Founder and Principle Consultant

Pál comes from a professional and academic background in cross-cultural negotiations, business development, policy planning and enforcement. He has over seventeen years of experience in legal and economic analyses, antitrust, and business consulting. He is also a former European Commission and European Parliament employee.

 

Pál is an internationally recognized speaker and a media-savvy communicator with a PhD in environmental and competition law and economics. He is active in academia, too, teaching at several universities across the globe.

 

Pál is fluent in Hungarian, English, Italian, French and Spanish and is conversational in German and Russian.

Csongor Nagy

Senior Legal Advisor 

With over 17 years of internationally accumulated professional experience, Csongor István Nagy represents the “legal leg” of the company. He is tried and skilled in complex legal environments with a broad range of clients representing essentially all sectors of the economy. Though he is not the only one in the company with a legal background, no detail escapes his attention when it comes to comparative legal analysis. This is very helpful when there is a need for adjustment in regulatory attitude, commercial behaviour or global strategic vision.

 

Csongor is professor of law at and the head of the Department of Private International Law at the University of Szeged. He is recurrent visiting professor at the Central European University (Budapest/New York) and the Sapientia University of Transylvania (Romania). Csongor is associate member at the Centre for Private International Law at the University of Aberdeen. He is admitted to the Budapest Bar, arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration attached to the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and member of the Panel of Conciliators and Arbitrators at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). 

Csongor speaks Hungarian, Romanian, English, German and French.

Mónika Halász

Advisor 

Monika comes from a legal background in the field of electronic communication and privacy. After her years at the European Union Council as a translator and lawyer linguist, she has worked in Hungary in the public sector for the European Union Communications Authority, then later for the National Media and Telecommunications Authority.

She had also worked as a counsel the Hungarian Content Provider's Association.

She is Berlin-based and is an active consultant in private sector Data Protection.

 

She speaks Hungarian, English, French and German.

Antonella Tortora

Junior advisor 

Antonella comes from an interdisciplinary legal background. She has more than ten years of experience as a Legal and Policy Advisor in Argentina. Alongside colleagues from different backgrounds, they have enabled the linkage between communities and the judicial system, political parties, representatives of civil society, and government officials. She has always worked to build more inclusive and sustainable cities.

 

She studied Law and a Master’s Degree in Human Rights. She concluded her studies with another Master’s Degree in Economic Development and Innovation in Spain. These latest studies increased her knowledge about how to build more sustainable development in society through circular economy and innovation. She is based in Spain.

 

She is fluent in Spanish and English.

Klaudia Grétsy

Advisor

Klaudia studied economics in Budapest and has more than 20 years of experience in external and internal auditing, consulting, due diligence, process management, risk assessment, control design.

Among others she worked in one of the Big Four and in National Bank of Hungary, where, for many years she led the internal audit department. She is based in Austria.

 

Klaudia speaks Hungarian, German and English.

Farzana Yaqoob Khan

Advisor

Farzana represents the next generation leadership of South Asia. Being a youth leader, social activist & entrepreneur from Azad Jammu & Kashmir, she is also the founding member of the Asia Institute of Public Policy and is a Policy Advisor for AGAHI. Farzana is also a Member of the Policy Network of the Foresight Lab, and Eisenhower fellow of 2016 and a distinguished Young Global Leader 2017 of World Economic Forum.

 

She served as a Minister for Social Welfare and Women Development in the Pakistan People's Party-led Government in AJK. She developed the office of Minister for Social Welfare and Women Development by integrating a citizen-centric model incorporating access for women as one of the core value for departmental procedures and chalked an all-inclusive policy bringing women in to the decision-making processes. In her tenure, she worked closely with all the political parties, representatives of civil society, government officials and the media bridging the urban-rural gaps. She established a separate directorate of Women Development in 2014, created a framework ensuring equal employment opportunities to the female population in the formal and informal sector. Farzana has also established the first ever Drug Addicts Rehabilitation Centre at Muzaffarabad, and in collaboration with the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Bank, she had launched a special finance scheme for women entrepreneurs encouraging them to start their own businesses.                                                                                                   

She is considered to be one of the most thought-provoking leaders in the region on issues of conflict, women empowerment and social security networks. She speaks at national and international forums.
